Affirming the position in the global education community
Among more than 1,100 universities worldwide and based on 126,000 student responses, British University Vietnam (BUV) has been recognised as the only institution from the Asia–Pacific region to be ranked in the global top three for the Admission Process category at the Global Student Satisfaction Awards 2025.
This achievement highlights BUV’s reputation within the international education community and reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to providing students with a transparent, supportive and efficient admission experience.
The Global Student Satisfaction Awards are among the most prestigious accolades in international higher education. They are judged entirely on verified student feedback, making the awards one of the most objective indicators of the quality of the student experience.
What sets BUV apart in winning over this category is its integration of an advanced student information management system (SITS), combined with a team of dedicated advisors and lecturers ready to guide students throughout their academic journey. These elements enable BUV to process applications and respond to individual study needs with remarkable speed, even during holiday periods. Students can receive an offer letter within just 48 hours after submitting all required documents.

In the Admission Process category, the most important factor for students worldwide when evaluating a university lies in the overall experience, from accessing information and seeking advice to receiving consultation and submitting applications.

Nguyen Thi Vinh Thuy, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer at BUV, shared: “Students are at the heart of everything we do, from teaching and learning to operations. In the near future, BUV will gradually integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its admission process. The goal is to provide every student with a “digital buddy” to instantly answer all their questions about study programmes, international qualifications, and different learning pathways. Being named among the global top three at the Global Student Satisfaction Awards 2025 of StudyPortals marks another milestone in BUV’s track record of achievements. BUV is the first university in Vietnam to receive a 5-star rating from Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), and the first in both Vietnam and ASEAN to be awarded global quality accreditation by the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).
