ADMISSIONS CHARTER
British University Vietnam (BUV) aims to provide an international education and training for all applicants who demonstrate the potential to benefit from its provision, in line with the specific entry requirements established for each programme. BUV is committed to ensuring that selection policies and processes are transparent and are followed fairly, courteously, consistently, and promptly with the following principles:
- BUV will provide applicants with accurate, clear, relevant and accessible information and clear guidance to enable applicants to make informed decisions about their options prior to and during their programme of study.
- Opportunity will be given on application forms or other selection activities/criteria, for applicants to draw attention to relevant qualifications, experience and other information that might support their application.
- When required, applicants will receive clear information on requirements for interviews, auditions, portfolios or any form of assessment applied during the application process. Interviews, auditions and assessments will be conducted and evaluated in a standardised manner for the programme.
- BUV will carry out checks on all documents supplied by applicants to establish authenticity to guard against fraudulent applications
- All admissions decisions are made by a panel to make sure that entry requirements are met as well as consistency and fairness.
- Offers will be made as promptly as possible. Clear information will be provided to the successful applicant on:
- any conditions attached to the offer
- what the applicant has to do next and by when
- Where offers have been made based on fraudulent information, BUV reserves the right to withdraw the offer or withdraw the student if enrolled.

Tuition Fees The total award fees cover the complete degree programmes. They include tuition fee, education resources fee and students’ affairs fee. A detailed fee schedule will be given to all students once they have enrolled.

Pathway to Staffordshire University Programme
Students registered on the Pathway to Staffordshire University Programme must note that the course is mandatorily included in SU Undergraduate programmes.

International Foundation Programme
Students who enrol in the IFP at BUV should be aware that after completing the programme, they can choose to follow either University of London programmes at BUV or Global Study by enrolling in either of the University of London or Staffordshire University international network institutions.
The total award fees cover the complete degree programmes. Fees are paid annually and are based on a full academic year. A detailed fee schedule will be given to all students once they have enrolled. The estimates include textbooks but do not include other service charges. Note that all fees are subject to change.

University of London Programme
Students registered on the University of London programmes must note that there are payments to be made to two parties:
– To BUV, students pay the application fee, administrative charges and course fee. The course fee and administrative charges are paid upon enrollment.
– To University of London, payments include the application fee, registration fee, exam registration fee and the annual continuing registration fee.

Financial Aids
BUV wants to expand opportunities for Vietnamese students to study in a British educational environment. For that reason, BUV is implementing various major scholarship programmes including: The British Ambassador’s Scholarship, President’s Scholarship and Dean’s Scholarship and other bursary and financial aids. Staffordshire University Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The total award fees cover the complete degree programmes. The actual fees to be paid will depend on how many subjects are taken in each semester or whether fees are paid on an annual basis for a full academic year. A detailed fee schedule will be given to all students once they have enrolled. The estimates include textbooks but do not include other service charges. Note that all fees are subject to change.
Financial aids
These are the bursaries and scholarships applied to our MBA programme:
– Early Bird bursaries: 10-20% discount on tuition fee*
– Group discount: additional 5% tuition fee discount for groups of 2 students and above*
– 100,000,000 VND scholarship for alumni of British University Vietnam
– Vice Chancellor Scholarship aims to provide financial support to candidates/ individuals who aspire to be future leaders and to make remarkable contributions to the economy and society. Scholarship winners will receive the scholarships worth from 25% up to 50% of the tuition fees of the MBA programme at British University Vietnam.
