James McMillan

James McMillan

James was born in England, but spent his formative years not far from Vietnam, in Brunei. In 1986 James moved back to the UK with his family, where he remained until 2015. Following graduation in 1996, he embarked on a career in the financial industry, working for HBOS and then Lloyds Banking Group.

Before leaving the world of banking in 2015, he was a client manager and was responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of corporate clients.

In 2015 James decided to take his life and career in a new direction and moved to Vietnam, initially teaching IELTS courses before joining BUV in September 2018.

James has delivered a wide range of courses both to students and corporate clients and continues to focus on the development of the English department.
