Le Hoang Thu Huyen
Huyen earned her bachelor’s degree in television journalism from the Academy of Journalism and Communication in Vietnam. Following graduation, she decided to broaden her experience from broadcast journalist at Vietnam Digital Television (VTC) to reality show production. She participated in three sessions of Vietnam’s Next Top Model and Vietnam International Fashion Week with Multimeda JSC in Ho Chi Minh City.
After successfully contributing to the shows as an editing supervisor and directing assistant, she worked for Le Group Companies and then became the online editing manager of Dep Magazine at the age of 27, making her one of the magazine’s youngest editorial managers in history. From 2018 to 2022, Huyen relocated from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to concentrate her career on content and marketing for various companies, including Sun Group, One Mount Group and FPT Software as a creative content manager.
She pursued her MA in the UK, which enabled her to deftly blend journalism, reality, art, and cinematic storytelling. Her short documentary “Story of a Chef” (2023), produced in Bournemouth, UK, received nominations and wins at several independent film festivals across the globe.
