Dr. Daphne Lau
Before joining BUV, Daphne served as a Research Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (AACSB and EQUIS accredited). She holds a Ph.D. in Accountancy from the City University of Hong Kong (AACSB and EQUIS accredited). Daphne was awarded a Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship by the Research Grants Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government, recognizing her exceptional research abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding leadership capabilities.
Daphne is deeply committed to research-led teaching, emphasizing the practical applications of theoretical concepts. Her teaching abilities are well recognized through positive evaluation feedback from students (with teaching excellence award) at both undergraduate and postgraduate Accounting and Finance subjects.
