Dr. Chris Kirrane

Chris, originally from the UK, has built a distinguished career abroad, specializing in economics, international political economy, and education. He holds a Ph.D. focused on the Asian Currency Crisis, along with a Master’s in International Political Economy, a PGCE in Tertiary Education (Economics), and a B.A. (Hons.) in Politics and Economics.

With extensive experience in academic and leadership roles, Chris spent five years as a lecturer at RMIT University in Vietnam. His work has also taken him to Thailand, Egypt, Greece, Belgium and China, where he has engaged in cultural diplomacy and educational management for the British Council. Previously, he worked for the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office as a research analyst. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences, concentrating on topics such as monetary policy and economic integration in the EU.
