EduConnect Sports Day 2026 brings the education community together

In late July 2026, British University Vietnam (BUV) hosted EduConnect Sports Day 2026, bringing together eight teams from partner schools to compete in pickleball and football. The event offered teachers and staff from participating schools an opportunity to connect beyond the workplace.
More than a sporting competition, EduConnect Sports Day was designed to encourage interaction between schools and strengthen relationships through a shared experience.
The pickleball competition featured a series of closely contested matches, marked by strong teamwork, coordination and determination. The Vinschool Ocean Park 1 team claimed the championship title, followed by the Vinschool Ocean Park 2 team as runners-up. The Wellspring team and the Marie Curie School – Van Phu Campus team shared third place.
The football competition continued the day’s energetic atmosphere, with participating teams demonstrating commitment and teamwork throughout the tournament. The Archimedes School team won the championship, while the Wellspring School team finished as runners-up. The BUV team and the Vinschool Ocean Park 1 team shared third place.
Beyond the results, EduConnect Sports Day 2026 provided a platform for participating schools to connect outside their usual professional environment. The event also reflected BUV’s commitment to holistic development, recognising physical wellbeing, mental health and a balanced learning environment as important alongside academic achievement.
Through EduConnect Sports Day, BUV continues to strengthen its engagement with partner schools and create further opportunities for connection and collaboration across the education community.
