BUV launches the 2025 BUV Scholarship Fund – Empower the Next Generation of Lionhearted 15:04:07

The 2025 Scholarship Fund by BUV offers prestigious scholarships, enabling talented students to access the longstanding British educational tradition and lay a solid foundation for their future careers.

On October 10, 2024, British Unversity Vietnam (BUV) officially announced its 2025 Scholarship Fund worth VND 150 billion, an increase of nearly 75% compared to 2024. This expanded scholarship program aims to provide opportunities for outstanding young individuals across the country, regardless of their family or social background.

Ms. Võ Hồng Hạnh, Director of Marketing and Communications at BUV, introduced the scholarship fund during the announcement ceremony.

With the theme “Empowering the next generation of lionhearted”, this year’s scholarship fund includes various categories offering up to 100% tuition coverage, such as the Founder’s Scholarship, Lionheart Scholarship, British Ambassador Scholarship, Vice-Chancellor Scholarship, Dean Scholarship, Faculty Scholarships, and the Talented Women in Technology Scholarship.

Among them, the Lionheart’s Scholarship is especially noteworthy, dedicated to students facing physical or health challenges, or difficult family circumstances. These students demonstrate extraordinary resilience, determination, and a fighting spirit, overcoming personal barriers to achieve excellence and inspire others. Another highlight is the British Ambassador Scholarship, which recognizes students with outstanding academic performance, active community involvement, and leadership potential.

The 2025 Scholarship Fund features various categories with support of up to 100% tuition coverage, totalling VND 150 billion

The 2025 Scholarship Fund represents not only financial support but also BUV’s strong commitment to education and human development through its core value model, A.C.E., built on three pillars: Aspiration, Commitment, and Empowerment. This initiative paves the way for students to realize their career aspirations in pioneering fields like Digital Marketing and Computer Science, as well as traditional disciplines such as International Business Management and Finance. Additionally, BUV is committed to promoting social equality, enhancing access to education for all, and nurturing future leaders who will drive positive change and sustainable values for the community.

This year, BUV introduces the Tech Queens Scholarship, a groundbreaking initiative to empower female students passionate about technology in Vietnam. This scholarship encourages them to confidently pursue undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Technology at BUV, helping to break gender barriers and build an inclusive and sustainable education community.

Prof. Dr. Raymond Gordon, Vice-Chancellor of BUV, speaks at the ceremony

“Academic excellence not only equips our students with international qualifications but also serves as a driving force for lifelong learning and development. We hope that every student graduating from BUV will not only excel academically but also embody a pioneering spirit and resilient heart to face challenges and leave a lasting impact on an ever-changing world. Our students, past, present, and future, are living proof of the excellence of British education at BUV,” Prof. Dr. Raymond Gordon emphasized at the event.

Established in 2018, BUV’s Scholarship Fund was created to provide students with the opportunity to pursue British undergraduate degrees and develop knowledge and skills in an internationally accredited educational environment in Vietnam, regardless of financial circumstances. The fund motivates young talent to explore, grow, create opportunities, and contribute to society.
