This module will equip students with a greater ability to communicate through writing, and speaking, as well as enhance their receptive skills with reading and listening. Overall, students will learn key foundational skills in academic English and develop a greater ability to use English in both formal and informal settings. The aim of this course is to build a strong foundation for students to extend towards more specialist, academic forms of English usage and comprehension.
This module covers basic concepts of business information systems analysis and design. It focuses on how technology is used in business processes, helping you prepare for the changing digital world. By studying global case studies, you will learn about digital systems, how they work together, and how business solutions are created. The module also helps you develop skills in research, system design, and creating solutions. It introduces the implementation of digital business information systems, with a focus on real-world applications in different countries.
This module focuses on creating digital solutions to improve business operations and customer experiences. You will learn to research, design, and assess digital solutions, using tools like mobile devices, smart tech, AR/VR, and social media. The module also explores how digital innovations can be adapted for different international markets, considering cultural differences in user experience design. You can choose to either develop practical digital solutions or create strategies for digital transformation. This approach ensures real-world learning through business challenges, allowing you to contribute to digital innovation, no matter your technical background.
This module teaches you key research skills for academic work and consulting. It covers research methods and how to apply them to client projects, with a focus on ethics in business. You will learn global research ethics and methods, allowing you to study digital business innovation across cultures. The module includes hands-on research activities and consulting practices in real business situations. It prepares you to conduct valuable research that drives innovation and benefits clients, while handling global business challenges responsibly.

Admission requirements
Requirements to the BUV Award
1. Academic Requirements: Graduated high school or equivalent.
2. English Language Requirements: IELTS: 4.5 overall (no less than 4.0 in any section) or equivalent.
Requirements to the Manchester Metropolitan University Award
1. Academic Requirements: (one of the following)
- Successful completion of BUV Year 1.
- Successful completion of BUV Pathway to University.
- Successful completion of Year 1 of a Vietnamese Bachelor’s degree, in a relevant subject area.
- Other qualifications that meet entry requirements for each course that are listed on website of Manchester Metropolitan University.
2. English Language Requirements: (one of the following)
- IELTS: 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent.
- Complete BUV UNIPATH 3.

The British University Vietnam (BUV) scholarship fund was established in 2018 with the goal of giving students the opportunity to study UK undergraduate and graduate programmes in an international learning environment.
