British University Vietnam (BUV) is the first and only international university in Vietnam to directly award British degrees from the prestigious University of London and other UK universities. POSITION PURPOSE
The postholder will be primarily responsible for BUV’s Business to Consumer (B2C) sales activities, including generating international leads and maximizing conversion into enrolled students.
The postholder will be a specialist in consultative, ethical sales – with experience of using a CRM and making calls/video calls to keep regular contact with prospective international students.
You will be able to identify the key benefits and features of studying at BUV and offer suitable options to qualified international prospects.
The role offers an exciting scope for development – you will be joining a high-performing team and working with an international leader with over 13 years’ experience working for higher education institutions in the UK, Hungary and Vietnam. There is some scope for international travel (one market visit per year).
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Achieve KPIs for contacting prospective international students via email, phone and video calls.
- Maximise the conversion of qualified leads into applicants and applicants into enrolled international students.
- Achieve annual individual targets (and support team to achieve global targets) for international student recruitment.
- Use CRM / online application system effectively to record information
- Provide expert advice on BUV’s, entry requirements and features and benefits of programmes
- Travel overseas as required attending exhibitions (and/or visiting ISR agencies and partners)
- Provide written and verbal reports as required
- Support events and webinars hosted by the team
- Line managing a student intern
- Working effectively with current international students to encourage promotion of BUV to their networks.
- Support marketing and lead generation activities through administering content on online portals and providing recommendations (related to content, messaging, opportunities, etc).
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Essential
- Must have experience of living/working outside of Vietnam or being an international student
- Experience of working in an office environment (minimum 2 years)
- Revenue making sales and CRM experience (minimum 1 year)
- An undergraduate degree completed with a 2nd class classification or above (or equivalent)
- Excellent computer literacy skills (including high proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and English language skills
- Ability to undertake administrative tasks
Desirable
- Professional higher education experience
- SalesForce experience
