Dr. Chia-Liang Lin
Before joining BUV, Chia-Liang Lin served as a Full Professor at the Quzhou College of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics under the supervision of Professor Dr. Theodore Simos (Highly Cited Researcher in Mathematics), General Department, National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has substantial related research and teaching experience.
With more than 10 Years of experience in the Multimedia Design Industry, multitasking in Lighting, Rendering and Compositing for a lot of animated short films. He is known for his expertise in 3D Animation (Maxon Cinema 4D and Autodesk Maya), Arnald, RenderMan, V-Ray, Mental Ray and other professional renderers. In addition, He has skills in Computer Programming (C#, Python and Java), Gaming Engine Technologies (Unity3D and Unreal Engine), Augmented Reality (Vuforia SDK), Motion Graphic Design, Responsive Website Development (CSS3 and HTML5), Nuke, Fusion and After Effects.
In recent years, he has been the author or co‐author of 45 original research papers in English, all of which have already appeared in international refereed journals or conferences, including 40 papers in SSCI (ISI – Web of Science) and SCIE (ISI – Web of Science). In the meantime, he was invited to be technical committee members of many international conferences such as ICDTE 2018, ICDTE 2019, ICETT 2020. Also, he was the reviewer of international refereed journals, containing Natural Product Communications (SCIE), Cell Proliferation (SCIE), Electronics (), Mathematics (SCIE), Sustainability (SSCI) and SAGE Open (SSCI).
In addition, his works won many prestigious international design awards, including A’ Design Award, Graphis Design Annual, Graphis Poster Annual and Golden Crown International Design Award.
