Dr. Hoang Ta
Dr. Ta pursued his passion for finance by completing a Bachelor degree with First-Class Honours in Banking and International Finance from Foreign Trade University (2016). He later continued his education in the United Kingdom, earning a Master of Science with Distinction in Banking and Finance from King’s College London (2017). In 2024, he completed his PhD in Accounting and Finance at the University of Leeds. His doctoral thesis, Essays on CSR Contracting, investigates how sustainability-linked executive compensation influences managerial risk-taking and corporate decision-making.
Before entering academia, Dr. Ta worked in the financial industry as a credit risk modelling specialist at PwC, Techcombank, and OCB, contributing to stress testing and regulatory risk frameworks. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) by GARP, recognising his professional expertise in managing financial risks in banking institutions.
