BRITISH UNIVERSITY VIETNAM (BUV)

POSITION PURPOSE

  • Provide high quality and proactive performance in recruiting new students to enrol to Pre-Uni & Higher Education programmes at British University Vietnam on annual basis.
  • Build and maintain customer relations.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and regulations affecting the Sales department.
  • Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Management support
  • Assist Senior Manager, Student Recruitment & Institutional Partnership in developing and implementing a sales plan and managing administration tasks.
  • Actively control and monitor the execution of the approved sales plan, make sure all tasks given to team members are carried out professionally and effectively in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for training & guiding team members through the proper process and procedure of working with Institutional Partnership’s stakeholders: Agents, Corporate and School channels, and customers consultation.
  • Work with internal departments such as Institutional Partnerships & MarCom teams to engage audiences and prospects more deeply.
  • Manage a sales team from 6-8 sales & telesales team
  1. Recruitment activities
  • Provide services to all applicants to the degree and pre-university programmes at BUV with the highest level of personalised service. Counsel students on programme selection.
  • Actively assist students in their applications and align with the admission team to make sure they get a timely decision on their application for the relevant programmes.
  • Accurately registering the students on the pre-university programmes after having conducted the placement test to ensure the minimum number of students per class.
  • Directly consult students to reach own KPI’s & supporting team to reach team’s KPI
  1. Others
  • Create and maintain business opportunities by developing relations with external stakeholders and provide consultancy services and training if required.
  • Consolidate and report on a weekly, monthly basis or as requested by the line manager.
  • To undertake any other assignments as delegated by Line manager.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

MINIMUM ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Vietnamese national
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, preferably Management, Marketing or Business Administration

RELATED EXPERIENCE

A minimum of three years of proven experience in a similar position, preferably in sales; having experience in university student recruitments or overseas study consultations; experience in telesales & telesales managements; management experience in leading teams from 6 people or above;

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)

  • Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition.
  • Strong individual contributor with extraordinary organizational, time and project management skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions before, during, and post-event upon unexpected circumstances.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consulting, team management, sales, tele sales training skills.
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office programs.
  • Problem solving skills.
