On the 15 July 2016, Jesse Boone, BUV’s General Director and Chris Jeffery, BUV’s Dean were interviewed by Vietnam Business Forum magazine about BUV’s investment in the new Ecopark campus (Hung Yen).
In the interview, BUV’s General Director, Jesse Boone explained why BUV decided to build the main campus in Hung Yen province, and how it stems from the increasing demand for quality education in Vietnam. 21st century students don’t just need classrooms and blackboards, but also need experiences and space to think creatively and have great ideas. Compared to Hanoi, Hung Yen has enormous advantages including more extensive vacant grounds and lower population density.
BUV’s Dean, Chris Jeffery, stated that with this 70 million USD project, BUV promises to become the leader in higher education in terms of facilities, programmes and highly-trained and sought-after graduates. BUV will attract the best lecturers, researchers and students in Vietnam and the region.
