POSITION PURPOSE

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Business Engagement Officer to join our team! As a Business Engagement Officer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects and further develop your career.

The Business Engagement Officer will interact with clients to analyze business processes and evaluate requirements, liaise with various stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and ICT solutions.

To be successful as a Business Engagement Officer, you should have strong analytical and communication skills, be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, and be adept at managing projects effectively.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Business Analysis
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose opportunities for improvement through digital transformation initiatives.
  • Interacting with clients to understand and evaluate business requirements to ensure alignment with project scopes & organizational goals.
  • Support in preparing essential project-related documentation, including business cases, requirements, and process workflows
  1. Project Assistance
  • Support Project Manager to coordinate activities for ensuring timelines are adhered to.
  • Track project progress and verify that deliverables align with established requirements.
  • Assisst Project Manager to build clear and efficient communication among teams to address challenges and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and maintain key project documents, including proposals, progress reports, and final deliverables.
  • Update regurlar reports ensuring clarity, accuracy and comprehension to stakeholders on project milestones and outcomes.
  1. Product/Solution Supporting
  • Act as a liaison between vendors, business users, and technical teams to facilitate effective communication.
  • Provide timely feedback to stakeholders to enhance collaboration and mutual understanding.

 POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus on on computer science, information technology, systems development or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English (Speaking, Reading & Writing).
  • Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to evaluate complex processes.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Good project management skills, including planning, organization, and time management.
  • Familiarity with tools for documenting requirements, modeling workflows, and managing projects.
  • Self-motivated with a curious mindset and willingness to research new domains and learn new things.

Desirable

  • Previous work experience in business engagement or a relevant role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High-level proficiency with MS Office programs and work-related software.
