POSITION PURPOSE

To support the Legal & Compliance Department with preliminary legal research, administrative tasks, document management, license preparation, and payment processes. The Legal Intern will assist in day-to-day operations, ensuring timely support for the team and contributing to the effective maintenance of legal and compliance functions at BUV.

 AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

• Conduct preliminary legal research and prepare summaries under supervision.
• Support in preparing documentation for licensing, regulatory filings, and reports to authorities.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.
• Support the preparation of payment and reimbursement requests related to legal and compliance activities.
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

 POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

• Basic knowledge of law and compliance principles.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

 Essential 

• Current student (3rd year or above) or recent graduate in Law.
• Good English and Vietnamese verbal and written communication skills

Desirable

• Student or graduate from Hanoi Law University (HLU) or VNU University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
• Prior internship experience at law firms or corporate legal departments.
