PAYMENT METHODS
You can pay using the following methods:
Currently, BUV only awards scholarships at the point of admission and does not offer scholarships during the course of study. However, the university does offer smaller awards and certificates to recognise students who achieve high results during their studies — for example, Merit certificates and honours recognition.
The competition level varies depending on the type of scholarship you apply for. The university offers Merit scholarships, programme-specific scholarships, and two main scholarship rounds each year, so if you are unsuccessful in one round, you can apply again in the next. For guidance on scholarship strategy and competition levels for specific scholarships, you can work directly with an Admissions representative, who can review your profile and provide more detailed advice.
BUV's scholarship assessment criteria include: academic performance, extracurricular involvement, leadership ability, clarity of career direction, potential contribution to the university and community, and financial need. BUV aims to find the applicant who is the best fit, not necessarily the applicant with the highest achievements — so you will need to clearly demonstrate your aspirations, direction, and personal strengths.
That said, a strong balance of both academic achievement and extracurricular involvement is ideal. If your extracurricular profile is not yet strong, you can instead emphasise your academic achievements and target scholarships with more moderate, better-matched requirements.
You will need to prepare a complete, well-rounded application: the higher your GPA and IELTS score, the stronger your profile; have a clear sense of your intended major; be actively involved in extracurricular activities — holding leadership positions in activities related to your intended field of study is a strong advantage — and then write a compelling essay that ties your whole application together, along with letters of recommendation, a CV, and a portfolio.
The key advice is: know yourself, and know the university.
