The BUV Volunteer Club works throughout the year on organising a number of projects and programmes for the less fortunate both in and outside of Hanoi. Whether delivering supplies to impoverished villagers of rural Sapa, cleaning polluted beaches in Hai Phong, tutoring the visually impaired, raising funds for scholarships for students in isolated villages of Thai Nguyen, or comforting children suffering from measles, the Volunteer Club is always busy giving back to the community through service and action while learning and growing as individuals.

BUV Photography Club is currently looking for President and members.

The BUV Photography Club is a group of amateur photographers who share their ideas and passion about the art of photography. The BUV Photography Club hosts a variety of events for its members such as photo-walks, competitions, and outings. We also hold workshops to develop new skills. You don’t need to have a fancy camera to be a member. All you need is a passion for photography and a keen eye.

BUV Billiards Club is currently looking for President and members.

If you want to build concentration and burn calories at the same time, this is the club for you! A typical 2-hour 8-ball or 9-ball session often provides 100 trips around the table’s perimeter, which is about equal to walking nearly three-quarters of a mile.

Our purpose is to provide BUV students and staff who share interest in billiards with an outlet for learning new skills, advancing their level of play, and having fun. All levels of players are welcome and encouraged to join, billiards is leisure activity that anyone can learn and anyone can play.

BUV Cooking Club opens up new possibilities and plans as it welcomes new and proactive members.

BUV Cooking Club was founded to create an environment for cuisine-fanatics who love eating, cooking and connecting with people through cuisines & cultures.

As business students at BUV, we also hope to see cuisines and dining etiquette under the business and hospitality perspectives.

Gradually we are expanding our activities to cooking classes, baking classes; cooking events i.e Bake-off with Gary Rhores – judge of Master Chef UK, BUV Open Day, BUV Club Day, though which you can challenge your cooking and business planning skills. In our upcoming plan, we will aim towards activities to raise basic understanding of hotel and hospitality management like Kitchen Tours and Hotel Tours at famous hotels in Hanoi. Food Fairs and weekends events for fundraising and picnics for fun will be schedule too.

Business Empowerment Club was established in 2014 to bring the power of business to impact the society through the act of empowering and creating a friendly environment where you can apply knowledge, thoughts and actions into reality in order to develop the community as well as yourself. Joining BEC club, you will have opportunities to join business workshops, expand your network with enterprises and organizations in Hanoi.

Business Empowerment Club annually organises a business competition named Viet Future Entrepreneurs Competition. This is a business playground for BUV and local university students in Hanoi who are young people with startup spirit. The competition aims to find and nurture the original business ideas and helps to turn the bright ideas into successful businesses.

Our English Club was founded in 2016 to gather people who are eager to know more about the language, share learning experiences and UK Cultures, work together on academic projects and develop an English student community. We also organize free English class for the poor children as a spirit of giving back to society.

Our vision is to raise awareness and improve knowledge of English among students, thus assist Vietnamese youth in leading the way to globalization.

BUV Music Club was established in 2015 with the main purpose of creating a place for all students to share hobbies, knowledge about music, and learn to play instruments.

Becoming members of music club, you'll have opportunity to show your talents, to boost your confidence on stage in front of crowns and significantly contribute to all important events at BUV of such as Open Day, Halloween, Teachers’ Day, Christmas Party and many trips.

“Golf really does tick all the boxes for things you need for optimal wellbeing,” says psychologist and coach Miriam Akhtar from www.positivepsychologytraining.co.uk. Currently our golf club practise every week and help each other improve the level. You can be a professional or a beginner to join. All are welcome.

We have a strong basketball club in place for you with weekly practice session in a well-facilitated indoor court!

Like all team sports, it’s pretty easy to form relationships, and it’s a great way to help you develop social skills. With interaction with coaches, the players on their own team, tournaments with other Universities, there will be plenty of opportunity for conversation about the one thing they all love – basketball! Football was Britain’s gift to the world and British University Vietnam is happy to carry the passion for the beautiful game through its active Football Club.

The BUV Football Club provides students and staff with the opportunity to develop their skills, and engage in friendly competition. The club plays weekly and participates in tournaments including the annual British Business Group of Vietnam Football Tournament, competing against football teams from Vietnam Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank, Prudential and other international organisations.

You don’t need to be a world class footballer to find pleasure in the club. You just need to have a passion with the world’s most popular sport.
