BUV is proud to offer international students, from outside of Vietnam, the opportunity to access world-class British Education in Vietnam through the Global Pathfinder’s Scholarship.
The scholarship is designed for international students who have the courage to step outside their comfort zones, the drive to explore new cultures, and a passion to make a meaningful impact in the world. This scholarship celebrates those who seek to grow, challenge themselves, and pursue their purpose through education, particularly those who have a deep interest in cultural exploration and Vietnamese culture.
The scholarship program applies to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered at BUV. Scholarships will be awarded to exceptional academic performers who demonstrate a commitment to being international student ambassadors of BUV.

Scholarship value:
- Platinum*: 100% tuition fee x 6
- Gold*: 75% tuition fee x 6
- Silver*: 50% tuition fee x 6
- Bronze: 25% tuition fee – limited
*While scholarship opportunities remain open to all eligible applicants, preferential consideration is granted to applicants from partner schools (PBIS, ISL, and SISM) in accordance with our institutional agreements.
The scholarship application is highly competitive with a limited number of scholarships available. Applications will be evaluated upon receipt and scholarships may be awarded before the application deadline. Therefore, applicants are recommended to apply as soon as possible.
Important information
The scholarship programme covers tuition fee for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs offered at BUV.
While there are no additional administrative or exam fees, we recommend that international students budget for living expenses of approximately USD 6,000 – 8,000 per year, as well as costs for flights and visas.
For University of London programmes, only BUV fee is covered by the scholarship – for details, please see here.
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you must:
(a) Nationality – based tiers:
- Platinum / Gold / Silver: Applicants from the UK, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and ASEAN nations (excluding Vietnam).
- Bronze: All other nationalities.
(b) Have submitted online application to an Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree program at BUV and meet all entry requirements.
(c) Have completed or be in Grade 12 / Year 4 University with a minimum GPA of 70% in your final year or equivalent, and an English proficiency of IELTS 6.0 (no skill below 5.5) or equivalent.
(d) Demonstrate excellent academic achievements, active community involvement, leadership potential, and a clear vision to contribute to BUV as a Student Ambassador.
- Cannot be combined with any other BUV scholarships or bursaries.
- Scholarships apply for the duration of studies, provided that students pass each term at the first attempt.
- Scholarship recipients must maintain a commitment to being an international student ambassador for the duration of their studies.
- BUV reserves the right to withdraw scholarships.
Our scholarship selection panel will make an assessment and rank all applications based on the following factors.
- Academic excellence;
- Financial impact (how the scholarship makes access to UK higher education financially viable);
- Extra-curricular achievements;
- Commitment to being an international student ambassador of BUV. Applicants should demonstrate the ability/strategy to promote BUV in their local community.

Check your eligibility for the program and the scholarship, and prepare the documents.

Submit your online application to study at BUV
Please contact International Student Recruitment Office for a unique application form.
Send required documents to International Student Recruitment Office via email international.study@buv.edu.vn before the deadline, these documents include:
- A scholarship motivation letter (use the attached template to prepare the letter)
- Screenshot of succesful online application submission to BUV
- Screenshot of application fee payment of 2 million VND (~70 USD) & securing deposit of 20 million VND (~700 USD)
The scholarship decision will only be announced after BUV successfully receives your application fee payment. Please note that any delay in payment will directly delay the announcement of your scholarship result.
Payment of the deposit is required to secure your place on the programme and will later be deducted against any future tuition fees.
Application fee and securing deposit are non-refundable in any cases except in the event that BUV cannot deliver the specific academic programme.

- Step 2: Choose “Payment for: Application fee”, fill your name, date of birth, payment amount “22,000,000” and content “Your name + application fee + securing deposit”
- Step 3: Click Pay and proceed payment
Given all required documents submitted, BUV will announce scholarships results by 15 August 2026.
