BRITISH UNIVERSITY VIETNAM (BUV)

British University Vietnam (BUV) is the first and only international university in Vietnam to directly award British degrees from the prestigious University of London and Staffordshire University. BUV is rated a 5 Star university of excellence by the world recognised QS accreditor, and is also recognised with a University-wide accreditation from the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is responsible for overseeing the entire University admissions process, including student enrollment in various programs. The role also involves supporting other departments and handling additional duties as assigned.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Admission process

  • Carefully screen all applications to verify their suitability, and prepare offer letters for students within the established timeline. Provide guidance to the Student Recruitment Department on special non-standard cases.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to an effective process in accordance with The University regulations and policies.

Registration & Documents

  • Prepare student profiles
  • Print and check student cards.
  • Review, record and keep track of any missing documents from applicants.
  • Collect any missing documents.
  • Contact applicants to remind them about submitting their documents
  • Other administrative tasks

Other

  • Support the department’s events and perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.

COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

  • Vietnamese national.
  • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business/Administration or Foreign Languages.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Customer and service-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Proficient in MS 365

Desirable

  • Experience in a similar position at a university, similar institutional environment, or international organisation is an advantage.
  • Experienced and strong knowledge of the international education system
