Foster your dream with the “Uninterrupted study journey” programme at BUV 09:35:56

Conveying the message “Go Further by Staying Local”, the “Uninterrupted Study Journey” programme – Season 2 from British University Vietnam (BUV) offers international study opportunities and financial support to Vietnamese students.

After the first year’s success, the programme continues into its second year to help students pursue their dreams of studying in an international educational environment right in Vietnam and going on to study abroad when possible. Students can also transfer credits to continue their studies at many universities around the world.

With this concept, students can build an uninterrupted learning pathway, from international pre-university, English foundation to international undergraduate and postgraduate, either in Vietnam or abroad.

High school students who wish to study abroad but are not mentally or financially ready or concerned about the pandemic can opt for the International Foundation Programme (IFP) at BUV, accredited by the prestigious University of London (UoL) to save time before applying to foreign universities. The advantage of IFP is its time- and cost-effectiveness, since it only takes one year to complete instead of two years like many other pre-university programmes. IFP of UoL is widely recognized by many universities in the UK and around the world.

Founded in 1836, the University of London (UoL) is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the UK, and comprises 17 prestigious independent member institutions around the world, including world-leading universities such as the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), King’s College London, etc. BUV is one of 120 training institutions globally recognized, and the only one in Vietnam authorized to offer the International Foundation Programme (IFP) of UoL.

Undergraduate students at BUV can transfer credits to foreign universities to continue their study abroad with the maximum support from BUV. They can also study at Staffordshire University in the UK as exchange students with the same tuition fees as in Vietnam after one or two years.

This is possible because the training programmes at BUV are UK-standard and rigorously accredited by the two prestigious partner universities to ensure that BUV complies with their standards. These are also standards regulated by the UK Government and accredited by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), an agency which grants degree awarding powers.

BUV fully supports students in transferring credits to universities in the UK, the USA, Canada, etc.

Students who want to transfer from abroad to BUV need to transfer their entire academic transcripts from the universities they are attending, English certificates, and other necessary documents to the Admissions Department of BUV. Currently, Vietnamese students transferring from abroad will receive tuition support up to VND 30 million (when meeting the requirements of the admissions committee). The deadline for application is October 15, 2021.

Should students encounter any difficulties in the process of preparing transfer documents, they will receive advice and support from BUV on a case-by-case basis.

In addition, students who have already received admission letters from foreign universities but wish to study at BUV are entitled to a 15% discount off the tuition fee of the first year, as well as free admission and application review (when meeting the requirements of the admissions committee). The deadline for application is December 31, 2021. Students with outstanding achievements can also apply for the Talent Scholarship which covers up to 30% of tuition fees over three years.

The “Uninterrupted Study Journey” programme offers students plenty of support but does not change BUV’s admission requirements, which always comply with the those of the two partner universities that award the degrees, University of London and Staffordshire University.

BUV provides an international standard learning environment, including campuses with a total investment of USD 80 million and advanced educational technologies.

The “Uninterrupted Study Journey – Go Further by Staying Local” programme offers a stable learning pathway and is a solid steppingstone for other learning plans in the future. Studying at BUV, students can benefit from UK-standard training programmes, 100% international teaching staff, degrees awarded by UK training institutions, and an international learning environment.
