Tuition Fees & Scholarships
BUV publishes tuition for each programme and offers full and partial scholarships for academic achievement, talent, leadership and community engagement. Award values range from partial support to 100 percent of tuition for selected scholarships.

BUV's scholarship assessment criteria include: academic performance, extracurricular involvement, leadership ability, clarity of career direction, potential contribution to the university and community, and financial need. BUV aims to find the applicant who is the best fit, not necessarily the applicant with the highest achievements — so you will need to clearly demonstrate your aspirations, direction, and personal strengths.
That said, a strong balance of both academic achievement and extracurricular involvement is ideal. If your extracurricular profile is not yet strong, you can instead emphasise your academic achievements and target scholarships with more moderate, better-matched requirements.
The competition level varies depending on the type of scholarship you apply for. The university offers Merit scholarships, programme-specific scholarships, and two main scholarship rounds each year, so if you are unsuccessful in one round, you can apply again in the next. For guidance on scholarship strategy and competition levels for specific scholarships, you can work directly with an Admissions representative, who can review your profile and provide more detailed advice.
The university places equal emphasis on both academic performance and extracurricular activities, as these are two important criteria for evaluating a student's ability, skills, and character. However, the university assesses each application holistically, taking into account the essay, letters of recommendation, and interview as well.
Currently, BUV only awards scholarships at the point of admission and does not offer scholarships during the course of study. However, the university does offer smaller awards and certificates to recognise students who achieve high results during their studies — for example, Merit certificates and honours recognition.
Tuition is paid on a per-semester basis, and each semester's fee can be split into up to 3 instalments. This payment structure allows families to plan their finances more flexibly, rather than paying the full programme fee upfront. The university announces the exact tuition amount and payment deadlines before each semester, so that students and parents can plan accordingly.
You will need to prepare a complete, well-rounded application: the higher your GPA and IELTS score, the stronger your profile; have a clear sense of your intended major; be actively involved in extracurricular activities — holding leadership positions in activities related to your intended field of study is a strong advantage — and then write a compelling essay that ties your whole application together, along with letters of recommendation, a CV, and a portfolio.
