ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Finance and Economics programme gives you the skills to succeed in careers including Financial Manager, Investment Analyst, Financial Analyst, Banker and Risk Analyst. Understanding the economic logic and theory that guides decision making is essential to success in any organisation or government – it is what you want to study if you want to change the world.
YOUR LEARNING PATH
This module will equip students with a greater ability to communicate through writing, and speaking, as well as enhance their receptive skills with reading and listening. Overall, students will learn key foundational skills in academic English and develop a greater ability to use English in both formal and informal settings. The aim of this course is to build a strong foundation for students to extend towards more specialist, academic forms of English usage and comprehension.
In this module, students will learn the meaning behind the financial data used within business organizations. All topics are explored in an analytical and evaluative manner, and the data is critically appraised for its use in business decision making.
In this module, students will learn how to apply economics to make informed decisions through the study of key economic principles. You will be introduced to key principles and fundamental concepts of Economics; Scarcity and Choice, Resource Allocation, Demand and Supply, Efficiency, Equilibrium, Macro stabilization and many more.

The only exception is for students on certain international curricula who meet the partner university's required scores for exemption; such cases are assessed individually by the Academic Affairs team.
The university requires completion of high school (Grade 12), but does not set any minimum grade requirement.
Yes, but the change must be made before July of the intake year. Changes requested after this date incur a programme-change fee of VND 2,000,000, payable to the university.
BUV follows the UK education system, so a Vietnamese high school diploma is not mandatory. Applicants must instead demonstrate completion of the equivalent of Grade 12, which can be shown through any of the following BUV-accepted qualifications:
All special cases require approval from the university's Academic Affairs department and depend on the specific programme and degree-awarding partner, so your child can submit their existing qualifications for the Admissions team to advise on the most suitable pathway.
