“Project E” – BUV Students Help Children Learn English And Soft Skills

BUV Volunteer Club has begun a new initiative, “Project E”, at Birla Children Village – aiming at teaching disadvantaged children English and soft skills, helping them integrate with society and overcome their difficulties. The project was initiated by Project Leader Nguyễn Thị Hải Yến, a BUV freshman, along with the support of BUV’s Volunteer Club, consisting of both Vietnamese students and international students. BUV students will act as the children’s teachers, mentors, and friends to make sure the children in need are equipped with the necessary language, communication and life skills. Through this project, BUV’s Volunteer Club would like to make an effort to give back to the community, promote social responsibility among students and develop their own personal skills.

Apart from “Project E”, BUV’s Volunteer Club has run a number of meaningful projects for the sake of the community, including a talent contest for the disadvantaged at Vi Ngay Mai center, and an English-teaching project for primary students in Vinh Niem, Hai Phong.
