2010 saw the launch of the British University Vietnam Student Association (SA). The association is run by a committee of 5 elected students who take the roles President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Event Coordinator.
The Student Association is run by the students for the students and represents the student body both internally and externally. One of the major roles is to coordinate the University Clubs as well as spearhead charitable work.
Two of the clubs which the Association support are Dance and Football, where funds are provided to support the activity as well as help in setting up and running the club, ensuring that all students are encouraged to participate.
The football club was the first club formed by the Student Association. They meet every week to play train and watch football. In 2011 the club hopes to arrange two tournaments one for British University Partner Schools and one between local universities.
The dance club is for those that like all types of dance both male and female, the aim of the club is to provide an environment where members can learn and practice dances such as the Tango, Salsa and Cha Cha Cha.
We hope to welcome you to British University Vietnam and our Student Association, join an existing club, think of a new one we strongly encourage you to belong participate and become an ambassador for our association.
