BUV Students Take A Field Trip To The British Ambassador’s Residence

On 11 November 2016, the BUV Student Experience Department, in coordination with The British Embassy Hanoi, organised a field trip for students to the British Ambassador’s Residence, including an Events Management workshop within the trip.

Our students were warmly welcomed by the Residence Manager with tea, coffee and cookies prepared by the Ambassador’s Chef, and were also taken on a site tour. The field trip has provided the students with an overview of the concept of Event Management, the process of organising an event and how to chase a career in events management. This information was disseminated by an Events Specialist from LeBros Company. Students also learned from the Residence Manager about her experience, stories of the residence through years, and most importantly the types of events that are held at this venue. At the end of the visit, BUV students had the privilege of receiving on-the-job training by the Residence Manager about the set-up of a standard royal banquet table – a unique and enjoyable experience!

We look forward to having more successful workshops and visits for BUV students along with academic activities to make sure our students are equipped with practical knowledge, hands-on experience and employable skills.
