BUV Basketball Open Tournament 2016

The “BUV Basketball Open Tournament 2016” takes place from November to December 2016 with the participation of 8 universities in Hanoi:  BUV University, Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment, FPT University, Vietnam University of Commerce, Academy of Journalism and Communication, University of Labour and Social Affairs, University of Architecture and Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

The tournament is an opportunity for athletes from BUV Lions Basketball Club to exchange sports with other universities, improve their techniques and prepare for larger tournaments in Hanoi. The organising team, BUV Lions Basketball Club, proactively invited corporate participation and succeeded with sponsorship for the tournament’s prizes. Moreover, after hosting this event, the students were able to gain experience in planning, event organisation, communication, teamwork and more.

In addition to the basketball tournament, BUV students, supported by the university, have organised many other sporting activities such as “BUV Champion’s League” by Football Club last October, weekly tennis practice, “The Red Bull Champion Dash” and others. BUV is proud to offer vibrant extracurricular activities and a comprehensive student development programme.
